    Description

    The Belize 20 Dollars Banknote was released by the Central Bank of Belize in 2017. The note comes with a color combination of brown, chestnut, and orange. Its obverse features Queen Elizabeth II wearing Grand Duchess Vladimir’s tiara and Queen Victoria's Golden Jubilee necklace. It also features a jade head, a jaguar in a tree, the coat of arms of Belize, and a school of queen triggerfish and a queen angelfish. The reverse of the note depicts a tapir, a keel-billed toucan, a Baird’s tapir,and animals including a fruit bat, a black howler monkey, a Tamanduas anteater, a honey bear,, a tayra, a collared peccary, a white-tailed deer, and a jaguar. The banknote contains a windowed security thread with demetallized BELIZE. It also has a carved head of the sleeping giant and an electrotyte TWENTY as its watermark. The banknote is 140 x 70 mm is size. It is signed by Glenford Ysaguirre, Joseph Waight, and Nestor Vasquez. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
